Koninklijke Moorman Karton offers an extensive range of self-adhesive materials.

However, when affixing your poster, print, or high-quality photo, it is important to follow our adhesive recommendations.

Adhesive advice

Work in as clean a space as possible, as dust in the room will immediately settle on your adhesive work. Take care with photos and self-adhesive polystyrene: both can be static.
Clean the material to be adhered and the cover sheet of the self-adhesive sheet, i.e. remove all dust and grease.
Make sure that the poster, photo and self-adhesive material are left in the same room for a while (preferably 48 hours) so that both have the same humidity and temperature. This will minimise any creasing.
Fold a corner of the protective sheet and attach the photo or poster. Be careful not to touch the self-adhesive layer. This can reduce the adhesive strength on the touched area.
We recommend that you always test a corner of the poster or photo first. Then pull the top edge away completely, allowing you to apply even and firm pressure to one side of the photo or poster from the centre of the fixed side.
It is best to use a press. A wide hand roller also gives good results. A heat press is not necessary.
As sticking requires some experience, we recommend that you test new material first.
Do not stick original works of art, valuable documents and limited editions.
The recommended humidity level (RH) is 55-60% at a temperature of approx. 20°C. This temperature is also ideal for processing. In any case, avoid extreme temperature changes for the photo or poster and the self-adhesive material.
Be careful with digital prints; you must test them first before sticking them on. Because the paper is very dry, the paper and the self-adhesive material must first equilibrate with the environment.
Do not stick original works of art, valuable documents and limited editions.
We recommend sticking photos onto self-adhesive polystyrene.
Keep the self-adhesive cardboard in the packaging and keep the badge number.

Museumboard

Standard museumboard
Chlorine- and acid free high quality buffered cellulose board. Through it’s featherweight, it’s easy to cut. The size is 90x120 cm and it’s aging resistant. The colors are white, superwhite, natural, off white and white/off white and in several weights.
